Marlin Industry Workshops

Venue: The Diplomat Center
This event will feature two (2) one hour workshop sessions designed to provide relevant information regarding various aspects of the regional and global music industry.
Session ONE (10AM-11AM) will be conducted by Kevin McIntyre and will include discussions on “How to Manage & Book Yourself as an Independent Artist”. Kevin is the manager of Christafari and the President of the booking agency Positive Music Agency that represents Christafari, Avion Blackman, Solomon Jabby, Monty G, Positive, Mr. Lynx, Sherwin Gardner amongst others. Session TWO (11AM-12: Noon) This session will be a Media Panel featuring several of the top radio and television personalities from various Caribbean countries and Canada.

Bahamian sound engineer Clarence "Nat" Williams and musician Lavard Curtis died in a plane crash in the Bahamas on October 5th. Both men will be honored during the 2010 Caribbean Gospel Marlin Awards on Saturday October 30th along with three (3) other well deserving Bahamians for their contributions towards the advancement of Bahamian and Caribbean Gospel Music.
